Prior to entering Columbia in 2000, Ms. Martin launched JAM Communications in 1998, an independent production, writing and consulting business. She is the mother of three children and married to F. Charles, Carmichael, Ph. D. She divides her time and work between New York City and Keswick Virginia at her home, Chanticleer Farm.
